Vertex Portal

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 1 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information is involved when you use Vertex Portal, which is very little, and what rights you have. It is written for readers in New Zealand under the Privacy Act 2020 and, because the publisher is established in France, also covers the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who is responsible for your information

The organisation responsible for personal information connected with this website is:

BIEN CHEZ SOI PLOMBERIE

5 Rue du Docteur Gonin, 06800 Cagnes-sur-Mer, France

Company number: 911256618

VAT: FR48911256618

Email: info@vertexportal.online

In this policy, "BIEN CHEZ SOI PLOMBERIE" means that company. Under the GDPR, it is the controller of the information described here. Questions about this policy go to the email address above.

2. What information is involved

The site is designed to collect as little as possible. Here is the complete list.

Information the site itself collects: none

There are no forms, accounts, newsletters, comment sections or chat tools on this site. The site sets no cookies and uses no browser storage such as localStorage or sessionStorage. It contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code, and it loads no scripts, fonts or images from other companies. The Cookie Policy explains this in more detail.

Server logs

Like almost every website, the web server that delivers these pages automatically records a log entry for each request. Each entry contains:

We do not use these logs to build profiles of visitors, and we do not combine them with any other information.

Emails you send us

If you email info@vertexportal.online, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to write. We do not ask you to send anything else.

When you follow an affiliate link

One link on this site is a paid affiliate link. When you click it, your browser leaves this site and connects to the affiliate network and then the vendor. Those businesses may collect information under their own privacy policies. This site does not pass them any information about you, and we do not receive personal information about you from them. We may receive information about whether a sale occurred, which is not linked to your identity on our side.

3. Why we use it, and on what basis

Purpose and legal basis for each kind of information
InformationWhy we use itBasis under the GDPR
Server logsTo keep the site secure, detect and investigate misuse such as attacks, and diagnose technical faultsLegitimate interests in operating a secure, working website
Emails you sendTo read and reply to your message, and to keep a record of corrections or requestsLegitimate interests in responding to correspondence; where your email is a privacy request, compliance with a legal obligation

Under the Privacy Act 2020, we collect this information because it is necessary for these lawful purposes connected with running the site, in line with information privacy principle 1. We do not rely on consent, because the site sets no cookies and does nothing that would require it.

4. How long we keep it

5. Who else receives it

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

The site loads no fonts, scripts or images from Google or any other third party, so no other company receives information from your visit to these pages.

Disclosure outside New Zealand

The publisher is based in France, so using this site or emailing us means your information is sent to, and held by or on behalf of, a business outside New Zealand. It may be stored in France, elsewhere in the European Union, or in another country where our hosting or email provider operates its servers. Information privacy principle 12 of the Privacy Act 2020 deals with disclosure of personal information outside New Zealand. We handle all of this information under the GDPR, which we consider provides safeguards comparable to those in the Privacy Act 2020, and our service providers process it only on our instructions.

6. How we protect it

7. Your rights under the Privacy Act 2020

You have the right to ask us whether we hold personal information about you and to see it (information privacy principle 6), and to ask us to correct it (information privacy principle 7). To make a request, email info@vertexportal.online. We will respond as soon as reasonably practicable, and within 20 working days. We do not charge for requests.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle a request or a concern, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. If it is still not resolved, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner, which oversees the Privacy Act 2020 in New Zealand.

8. If there is a privacy breach

If a privacy breach occurs that has caused, or is likely to cause, serious harm, we will notify the Office of the Privacy Commissioner and the affected people as soon as practicable, as Part 6 of the Privacy Act 2020 requires, and, where the GDPR applies, the relevant supervisory authority within the time it requires.

9. Additional information under the GDPR

Because BIEN CHEZ SOI PLOMBERIE is established in France, the GDPR applies to its handling of personal information. The legal bases relied on are set out in section 3; in short, legitimate interests for server logs and correspondence. No information is processed on the basis of consent, as the site sets no cookies.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have it rectified, to have it erased, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format where that right applies, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise any of these rights, email info@vertexportal.online. We will respond within one month.

You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In France, that is the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL). You may also complain to the authority in the EU country where you live or work.

10. Children

This site is not directed at people under 16 and does not knowingly collect information from them. As it collects nothing through the site itself, there is nothing a child could submit. If a child has emailed us and a parent or guardian would like that message deleted, please contact us.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how information is handled, we will update this policy before the change takes effect and change the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, for example if we were ever to introduce cookies or a form, we will also add a notice to the home page for at least 30 days. Previous versions are available on request.
